Child safety is the foundation of KidzKourtRoom™. This document explains how the program is designed to keep young people safe and what happens the moment a real safety concern appears — what we call a “red line.”
A Silent Ally is a certified adult (an educator, youth minister, counselor, or staff member) who has completed the 25-hour EELM℠ formation program. The Silent Ally does not direct the deliberation and does not decide outcomes — the students lead. The Silent Ally’s job is to hold the conditions for that leadership to be safe, and to act immediately if a real safety concern arises.
Some situations require an immediate adult response and take priority over any exercise. If any of the following appears, the Silent Ally pauses the activity at once and follows the institution’s established protocols:
KidzKourtRoom™ does not replace legal mandatory-reporting obligations or the child-protection procedures of the host institution. Those obligations and procedures always take precedence. When a red line appears, the responsible adults follow their institution’s and their jurisdiction’s established reporting and safeguarding steps.
KidzKourtRoom™ is not therapy, legal advice, an investigation, or a disciplinary process. It is an educational practice for building ethical-leadership habits through fiction.
Because Level 1 uses fictional cases and collects no student personal data, there is no student information to expose. For how we handle information submitted through the website, see our Privacy Policy.
